Are pets allowed?
Pets are allowed at Plus Florence only in private rooms and in compliance with the rules set out below.
• Access and booking
Pets are only allowed in the hotel’s private rooms.
Access is not permitted in shared hostel dorms or in certain common areas, such as the communal kitchen and the pool area.
Only small or medium-sized pets are allowed, with a maximum of two per room.
To bring a pet, you must send a request in advance to: plusflorence@humancompany.com.
A fee per stay applies for special cleaning.
Guide dogs and service animals are exempt from fees and access restrictions.
• Health regulations
Pets must be properly vaccinated and identifiable with a microchip.
You’ll be asked to show an up-to-date vaccination booklet at check-in.
• Hygiene and behaviour
Pets must always be accompanied and under control. They cannot be left alone in the room or allowed to roam freely around the site.
They are not allowed to relieve themselves inside the building.
Pets are not allowed on beds, chairs, armchairs or other furnishings, and you may not use the bedroom or bathroom linen for them.
Washing pets in the site’s bathrooms is not permitted.
• Lead and muzzle
Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times when in common areas.
Owners must carry a muzzle and use it when necessary in situations that could pose a risk to other guests or animals.
• Responsibility
Owners are responsible for the behaviour and supervision of their pet for the entire duration of the stay, and must ensure that it does not disturb, harm or pose a risk to other guests or staff.
Any damage to people, property or other animals is the sole responsibility of the owner.
Management reserves the right to terminate the stay in case of inappropriate or aggressive behaviour.
At what age children start paying for the accommodation?
Children up to 4 years can stay for free and sleep on the beds provided in each room. Children from 5 years of age will pay full price.
Can beds be reserved?
Unfortunately no, we cannot guarantee specific beds reserved. Even if your reservation comprises more beds book more than 1 bed, we cannot guarantee they will be in the same dormitory (this is for beds in dormitories).
Can I extend my stay at your hotel?
If you wish to extend your stay, we highly recommend you to contact the Reception and let us know at least one day in advance.
Can minors stay at the lodging facility or do they need to provide a written permit from their parents?
Minors under the age of 18 may stay at the facility only if accompanied by an adult and if they provide a written authorization signed by both parents (or legal guardians), together with copies (front and back) of the parents’ ID documents.
If the accompanying adult is not a parent, a signed proxy from the parents and copies of their ID documents are mandatory.
Minors under the age of 12 are not allowed to stay in dormitories, even if accompanied by an adult, unless the reservation includes all the beds in the booked room for exclusive use.
Can you play ping pong?
Certainly! The service is free and available every day from 11:00 am to 23:00 pm. You can request rackets and balls directly from the bar staff.
Do children get a discount for breakfast?
The continental buffet is free for children up to 3 years of age, while for children from 4 to 11 the cost is €6.00. From 11 years the cost is €11.00.
Do you offer a laundry service?
We are equipped with a self-service laundry which is located on the -1 floor. Price is EUR 5 for one washing and EUR 4,50 for the dryer.
Do you offer a linen-rental service?
Yes, we do. Bed linen and a towel are always included in the reservation, along with a duvet.
If needed, additional towels can be rented for EUR 3.00 each.
Do you organize city tours?
We don’t organise tours, but we’ll be happy to share some tips.
You can explore Florence, the cities of Tuscany and many other destinations nearby!
Do you organize events at the restaurant?
Our restaurant hosts themed evenings regularly.
Do you run any Pub Crawl?
Unfortunately not, we do not organize pub crawls.
Have you got a gym?
You will find a free gym on -1 floor.
Have you got a pushchair rental service?
Unfortunately we do not offer a pushchair rental service. However, we will be happy to help you finding what you need.
Have you got a silent hour policy?
Hour hotel has a silent hour policy from 11.00 pm to 7.30 am.
How is the common room equipped?
Our common room is designed for your daily needs. You'll find microwaves, kettles, and a refrigerator at your disposal to make your meals easy and convenient.
How many pools have you got?
Plus Florence is equipped with two seasonal swimming pools. During summer our guests can enjoy also our outdoor pool, while in winter time our indoor pool and sauna.
How much is for breakfast?
It is possible to book accommodation with continental buffet breakfast included, otherwise it is possible to buy breakfast directly at the on-site bar, both the hot and cold continental buffet formula are available at €11.00 per person, and the à la carte service.
How much is the tourist tax?
Tourist tax is € 4.00 per person per night. However, there are some exemptions which are listed below:
A) Children until the 12 years of age;
B) Anyone assisting patients hospitalised in the area, including one-day admissions, up to a maximum of two people per patient. It will be required to provide the appropriate documentation along with personal details of the people accompanying the patients as well as the referenced period of the hospitalisation or health treatments;
C) Patients who are getting medical hospital care in a regimen of Day-hospital (self-certification the referenced period of the hospitalisation or health treatments);
D) Students from the University of Florence who must bring a certificate of enrolment for the current academic year (or self-certification), a Student Card or university booklet;
E) Law enforcement officers, National Fire Corps or Civil Protection workers who are staying at local accommodations in the municipality in the line of duty only for the duration of their service;
F) Severely disabled people in possession of a valid certificate “CERTIFICATO (in Italian) under the Article 3 subparagraph 3 of the law n. 104/92”. Foreigner citizens should provide a certification valid in their own country.
50% reduction of the Tourist Tax:
• School groups from middle and high schools during educational visits (also foreigners) on showing a declaration from the school manager (e. g list of names of students and teachers attending the tour specifying they are on an educational trip);
• Athletes under the age of 16 years, sporting groups, participants in tournaments and other activities organised by local councils. In this case a statement from the relevant sports federation will be required.
Is a late check-out possible?
We do not offer a late check-out service, but we do have a luggage deposit available for EUR 3.00 per person.
Is there a hot tub?
Yes! For your moments of pure relaxation, we have a indoor hot tub. The service is active during the winter season (from October to May), ideal for warming up and unwinding after a day of walking among the beauties of the city.
Is there a kitchen area?
We have a common area with a shared kitchenette (fridges, microwave and sink).
Here you’ll also find an internet station, plus sofas to relax, a TV and some snacks to grab.
Is there a parking lot?
We have a private parking area with limited spaces (max 6), available for cars on a first-come, first-served basis and not bookable.
Priority is given to guests who need it most, such as people with disabilities or large families just let reception know if this is your case.
Motorbikes, bicycles and cars for guests with disabilities can park free of charge.
Is there a pool table?
Yes! In our common area there is a pool table. The cost is €2.00 per game: the perfect way to break the ice and make new friends over cocktails.
Is there a WI-FI available?
WI-FI is free within the premises and in each room. To access our broadband service you just need to connect your electronic device to “PlusFlorenceWiFi” network and you will automatically go online.
Is there any disabled toilet in the room?
We have rooms equipped with disabled toilet, you just need to send an enquiry for it to our reservation office.
Is there any locker available in the rooms?
Each bedroom comprises one locker per person which can be locked with your own padlock. If you don’t have one, you can buy it at our Reception for EUR 4.00.
Is there any shuttle service from your lodging facility to the station?
The station is just a 10 minutes walk from our facilities. Local buses run frequently from the station during the day.
Luggage storage
The deposit is free for all guests before check-in. Do you want to leave them even after check-out? The service is available for a small fee.
May I get an invoice?
Please let us know in advanced your billing details in order to get an invoice.

What are check-in and check-out times? Check-in is from 3pm. Check-out is by 10.00 am.
What are reception opening times?
Our Reception is open 24 hours a day. During the night hours our staff will be always available to help.
What are the bar opening hours?
Opening hours vary according to the season:
Inside bar: 4:00 pm – midnight (Winter).
Pool Bar: 11:00 am – 11:00 pm (Summer).
Terrace Bar: 5:00 pm – 23:00 pm (Summer, only during events).
What are the swimming pool opening times?
The opening hours of the swimming pool vary according to the season
The indoor pool is open from October to May.
The outdoor swimming pool is open from June to September.

The restaurant is open for dinner from 18:00 to 22:00
What time is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served from 7.00 am to 11.00 am.
When are the sauna and Turkish bath available?
Our wellness area is open during the winter season (from October to May). It's the ideal place to unwind after a day of touring the city.
When can I settle my bill?
Your stay and tourist tax should be settled at the time of check in.
